I'm very much interested in seeking employment with a company called Tigerfish that does nonmedical transcription. However, one of their requirements involves putting a title and information on every transcribed page. My question is this. How can I tell when a new page starts without printing? Do I have to make a new page or is there a command I can use that would tell me? In Windows, I can use either JFW or Hal and the wordprocessing programs I use are Wordpad, Jart and Textpal. Do any of those have the ability to do this?

I really doubt it.
What format do they want the documents in? .doc, .pdf, .txt?

I just read the manual, and among the many examples and explanations of how to write things, I found this. "Your final document will be formatted using a standard template that relies on use of the colon and tab to produce the final product for the customer." So I think I can save it as txt, doc or rtf. They didn't say. They did, however, say that I should remove all automatic formatting options if I'm using Microsoft word. Also, after reading this, I didn't see anything about writing on each page of the document. So it looks like my fears were unjustified. I just skimmed through it the first time. However, this is still something I'd like to know, incase I ever do really need it.
